Generator Placement

Residents can lodge the request for generator placement through E-Mail or signed request on plain paper. 12 working days are required for generator placement. Following documents are to be prepared:-

Generator Placement in Commercial Building

  1. No Objection Certificate from owner/tenant.
  2. Stability Certificate from a qualified structural engineer.
  3. Undertaking / Affidavit on Rs 50/- Stamp Paper by owner / tenant to compensate in case of damage and remove generator on the directions of DHA.
  4. Generator Set 25 – 100 KVA for 4-8 Marla.
  5. Generator Set 100 - 400 KVA for 16 Marla and above.
  6. In Commercial building generator is to be placed on the roof top.
  7. Properly constructed soundproof canopy is to be placed on the generator set.
  8. Generator set will be used as standby source only.
  9. Only diesel generators are recommended.

Generator Placement in Residential Building

  1. Generator set may be installed in basement / front lawn 5 ft away from common boundary wall.
  2. Generator set must be installed with sound proof canopy.
  3. Maximum capacity of generator is 25 KVA.
  4. Generator set will be used as secondary electric supply source, while using primary supply from WAPDA / LESCO.

Miscellaneous

Residents can lodge following requests through E-Mail or signed request on plain paper.

  1. Observations & complaints about Bus Stops.
  2. Trimming / Cutting of Trees.
  3. Permission for Security Grill.
  4. Ground Leveling.
  5. Complaint against neighbors.
  6. Burial Certificate. Following documents are required for burial certificate:-
    1. Application to Director Building control, signed by legal heir, mentioning grave number and relationship with the deceased.
    2. Copy of Computerized National Identity Card of the deceased (if not minor).
    3. Copy of Computerized National Identity Card of the applicant.
    4. Certificate will be issued in 3 working days.
  7. Removal of underground pipes (Gas or Water).

Paid Services by DHA

New Water and Sewerage Connection

Residents are required to apply for new connection after completion of house construction, Following documents are required:-

  1. Signed application form for new water and sewerage connection.
  2. Copy of Computerized National Identity Card.
  3. Paid challan of Rs. 4000 for home completion / sewerage opening and Rs. 7000 for water connection.

Water Supply Line (Leakage / Blockage)

Residents can lodge signed request on a plain paper for repairs. Following documents are required:-

  1. Application to Director Maintenance, DHA Lahore.
  2. Copy of Computerized National Identity Card.
  3. Cost will be determined after survey Rs. 7000 + 500/- (if valve replacement is required­).

Water Restoration Request

Residents can lodge signed request on a plain paper. Following documents are required:-

  1. Application to Director Maintenance, DHA Lahore.
  2. Copy of Computerized National Identity Card.
  3. Paid challan of Rs. 3000/-

Cleaning of Septic Tank

Residents can lodge signed request on a plain paper. Following documents are required:-

  1. Application to Director Maintenance, DHA Lahore.
  2. Copy of Computerized National Identity Card.
  3. Paid challan of Rs. 1500/-

Electric Works

Residents can lodge an E-Mail or signed request on a plain paper for shifting of electric pole.
