19th Hangzhou Fun Run

On the 20th of February, 2023, the DHA Lahore sports complex, Phase VI, hosted the 19th Olympics Council Asia Hangzhou Fun Run. The event was organized by the DHA Lahore and witnessed by Mr. Jian Zhou, Director Media OCA and Mr. Wissam Trkmani, Project and Operations Manager OCA. The General Secretary of the Pakistan Olympics Association, and the Chief Guest of the event, Administrator DHA Lahore.

The Hangzhou Fun Run was a part of DHA Lahore’s commitment to strengthening the sports of Pakistan by organizing national events. The Administrator DHA Lahore stated that we have organized 9 national events, and the Hangzhou Fun Run is part of our vision of peace and stability. He also added that DHA will engage the youth of Pakistan to show the world that Pakistan is well-connected with all sports on all forums.

The Fun Run saw a massive turnout, with students and athletes from various universities such as GCU, LCWU, National sports federations, children and students from DHA schools and city school participated in the event. Dignitaries from the government and corporate sector and international and national medalists and athletes were also present to witness the event.

The event was not only a fun-filled experience for the participants, but it also aimed to promote sports and physical activity among the youth of Pakistan. The Fun Run was a way to bring together people from different walks of life and promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

The Director of Media from the Hangzhou organizing committee appreciated DHA Lahore for organizing such a fantastic event and promoting the spirit of sportsmanship. The 19th Olympics Council Asia Hangzhou Fun Run was a massive success, and the efforts of DHA Lahore in promoting sports and physical activity among the youth of Pakistan must be appreciated. The event was a clear indication that Pakistan is well-connected with all sports on all forums and that the country is committed to promoting peace and stability through sports.
